Unforgettable

Hole #16 is a demanding par 3 that points directly at Mt. Bachelor. With numerous bunkers that await an errant shot, your skill level will be tested to its limits.

Tester

Hole #3 is a very long par 4 measuring 469 yards in length from the back tees. If you get off this hole without hitting on in the water you're doing fantastic! You see, the Sun river is everywhere on this hole. In front of the tee, both sides of the fairway, and around the green. Wow, be accurate and be careful!


Directions

Take the Sunriver exit off Hwy 97. Go through circle 1 and go to the lodge. The Meadows course starts at the lodge.

 

Meadows acclaimed architect John Fought's latest offering, opened July 2, 1999. This spectacular new layout features tremendous variety within its 18 holes, seven of which border the meandering Sun River. The design pays tribute to the great American courses from the 1920's and 30's with its aesthetic grace, while its dramatic use of directional and fore-bunkers serve up ample challenges and excitement for all.

When a group is playing faster than we are, what is the appropriate way to let them through without backing up the entire course? - Sean Cracraft


Many golfers tend to stop time as they let groups through, that's if you can get them to. They watch every shot and have business meetings on the tee. Golfers need to keep moving especially when playing-through is occurring. Tee off with them and let them play through gradually. This will keep the group behind them from running into you. If they're playing through on the green, put out or at least get started while they're walking up to the hole. This will keep things smoother and everybody happy.
