Unforgettable
The 17th hole on the "Fought" stretches 473 yards from the tips. Hitting it big off the tee is a plaus, but be careful, there's a creek that meanders along the left side of the fairway, that turns into a pond down by the green. This hole plays tough, long and is very beautiful. Even the most ardent and skilful golfer will feel taxed with one hole to play.
Tester
The #6 par 5 stretches 605 yards long. Be very accurate on this hole, traps come into play on every shot. Hidden traps lace this hole too, when you think you've cleared one, often you'll find yourself at the bottom of another. Watch out if the pin is placed on the top throne of this two-tiered green, just two putting can be a real challenge.
Directions
From Portland International Airport take #205 south to #84 west to I-5 south for a short distance, then follow the signs to Beaverton (Hwy 26) by following 405 for another short distance. Take Hwy #26 Sunset Highway west to Cornelius Pass Road. Turn right (south) on Cornelius Pass Road Exit - back over freeway. Turn right (west) on Tualatin Valley Hwy #8. Turn left on SW 229th Ave. The Reserve is on the right side - approximately 1 mile in. |

| The Fought course at the Reserve is a long traditionally style layout with stands of mature trees and tremendous white sand bunkers, 119 bunkers in all. With Rye fairways and good drainage, you'll find this course to play well and reward drives with extra roll. Bent Grass greens hold well and putt fast. The "Fought" is also known for hosting the Fred Meyer Challenge. Last year David Duval and Jim Furyk captured the title on this very tough course.
