Unforgettable

While only 110 yards in length, the little sixth may be the most difficult par three on the course. The putting surface is elevated approximately five feet on all sides with a grave like pot bunker in the front to swallow up the faint of heart.

Tester

The eighth hole is a long dogleg right par 4 which features the circa 1915 "Langdon Red Barn". The prime tee shot landing area is along the right side of the fairway near the massive "Church Pew" style bunker. The eighth may not only be the most memorable hole, but also the most difficult.

Directions

Heading north on I-5, take exit 282. Heading south on I-5 take exit 282B. Head east on Miley Rd. and continue to Airport Rd. Turn right (south) and continue to course on right.

Langdon Farms Golf Club is a links-style course sculpted out of 170 acres of Oregon farmland, with spectacular views of Mt. Hood on most of the holes. Measuring 6900 yards from the back tees, the course was designed in keeping with the traditions of great courses the world over and provides "five star" service which is very unique for Portland, Oregon.

How can we think positively? - Branden Thompson

Thinking positively eliminates tension which is the main reason for bad golf shots. I suggest you try and think of positive shots and tell yourself you are playing well. "there's no reason why I shouldn't drop this putt etc." Think positively and you will get more enjoyment out of golf!
