Unforgettable

One hole that stands out from the rest is the 9th on the Green Course. This par 4 requires an accurate tee shot to have the right angle to the green. A pond guards the right side 100 yards from the green to the edge of the back of the green. If that isn't enough the hole is surrounded by numerous traps.

Tester

On the yellow side, the 215 yard par-3 5th is the one that can really sting if you're not careful. There's a fairway pond that guards the right side and bunkers that guard the left. Get par and get off!

Directions

Heading north on I-5 take exit 282. Heading south on I-5 take exit 282B. Head east ¾ mile to Charbonneau entrance. Follow French Prairie Road to sign to golf course.

Charbonneau is an executive golf course in a setting like no other executive course in the world. Lakes and trees abound on a manicured course that tests players of all skills, from entry level to the finest players anywhere. It is a mix of par fours, and short, medium and very long par threes. The grass driving range is in a peaceful setting with terrific turf for great practice. Bob McCallister, head professional and former PGA tour winner says, "Par is a great score on any of the three nines at Charbonneau, and the practice area equals any PGA Tour Site."

What's the #1 killer of the golf swing? - Bob McCallister

A reverse weight shift is one of the biggest killers of a good golf swing. Remember a good weight shift is moving the weight onto the right foot on the backswing and through to the left foot on the finish. Don't inhibit yourself, your body will move naturally back to the right as you make your turn. If you keep your head perfectly still you'll twist onto your left leg creating a "reverse pivot" or reverse weight shift. Let your head turn and move a little with the backswing and your body will flow into a natural right to left move.
